AMD Launches PUMA

As reported by Tech Site DailyTech, AMD has just launched their new platform for mobile computers under the name Puma.Its based on the AMD’s Griffin processor and RS780M chipset.

there is a possibility of a quad core Griffin processor, as of right now it is not on AMD’s roadmap. These present griffin chips sports 1MB L2Cache Per Core With a 667Mhz-800Mhz support for upto 8GIG of DDR2 RAM . the price ranges from 699$-2500$ @ the time of launch i.e in Q2 2008.
