It’s been more than a week since i was last online & even while writing this post i am offline(i’ll post this one when i get into edge network area).All this because of the incident happened weeks ago. More than 10 days for that airtel office fire break & still no edge network available for people like me & my friend tanmay,who live near the affected area.Even though the EDGE service is working fine else where in mumbai ,but in some parts like dadar & some aeea’s in bandra its not working . I just can’t figure out that a company which is all set to launch the i phone in india is so irresponsible,that they are unable to fix the EDGE networking issues.

Yesterday, it was the most disastrous day in every Airtel subscriber’s life. We should rather call it a black Friday for the Airtel users all over Mumbai circle. Fire caught up in Peninsula park complex where the airtel’s Office is situated .This incident was more than sufficient to damage their Network Hardware.   So eventually each & every one of the Airtel users was unable to either dial a number or receive. Though, later on some subscribers were able to receive the calls (but still no outgoing for more than 90% of the customers). What more Other services  like Airtel Live & GPRS services were affected badly, Even I use the EDGE services of Airtel & still I am unable to open up my blog ,its taking more than 5-10 minutes opening up the site & the situation will still remain the same for at least 3-4 days now. God help us.

I have tried many download managers right from DAP & IDM to the likes or orbit & even the default download manager from Opera . While using firefox i haven’t came across any download managers as such don’t know why but its true. But yesterday one window popped for showing the new Download manager plugin for direfox named DownThemAll

So I decided to give it a try & it turned out to be pretty good than what I expected it to be. The download rate is quite amusing , infact I am getting better download speed than ever before. There are some great features like DTa One Click which allows us to download each & everything present on the current page , it does it automatically. IT integrates pretty well with the browser , so that you can right click the screen & start it.

I was having a hard time last week with my PC .Slowing down of applications , crashing of browsers ,low memory warnings. So i planned a reinstallation of My O.S for 1st time in more than a year.

So everything Went according to the plan,but , yes there is a but here. The Driver installation CD which i’ve got is  more than 2 years old, so i was searching for updates for the sound/video drivers over the net.Mind you this is the thing which i hatethe most to search for the drivers.

Well then i got this great software while surfing over the net named  Driver  Updater Pro. I downloaded it & it’s working great , it  1stly scans the PC for the Drivers & checks the versions of it & if the drivers are outdated it lists the driver name & you can download the updates right away using that software.

Moreover this software supports eventually every company’s drivers, right from ASUS, DELL, ATI ,NVIDIA, ABIT, CANNON, ACER, Dlink, Gigabyte ,  HP  &  many more companies device drivers.
